With time almost up Seneschalstown looked destined for elimination from the Junior D FC at the penultimate hurdle as they trailed by four points against Dunsany at Skryne on Sunday.

However, deep into injury-time Alan Oakes set up a storming finish with a superb goal and from the kick-out Seneschalstown won possession again and Alan Geraghty pointed the equaliser.

Seneschalstown kept their hopes of a league playoff alive after this defeat of the home team. It didnt look good for the winners early on as Simomnstown scored a goal in the first minute and followed with a point soon after, but with Paul Kinsella and Seamus O Brien getting to grips with midfield the furze recovered before the break with points from Ollie Finnegan, Michael Mullen and Barry Clarke to lead 0-6 to 1-2.

Senior Ladies - SFC Final Seneschalstown won the Meath Ladies SFC title again with a comprehensive victory over St. Ultan's at Simonstown on Sunday.
