Seneschalstown clinched the inaugural JFC D title sponsored by Scanlon's of Kilberry in dramatic fashion as a late Alan Oakes goal secured victory over Summerhill at Dunsany on Saturday 20th September.
The Yellow Furze side fully deserved their success for they hung in there even when the game appeared to have slipped away from them and just as in the drawn semi-final against Dunsany it was their centre-half-forward who popped up with the vital score.
