Goals proved the key for Seneschalstown as they scored a home A FL Div. 1 win over Dunboyne on Friday evening.
Davy Byrne netted after 30 seconds and Brian Clarke repeated the feat on five minutes to leave Seneschalstown ahead by 2-2 to 0-1.
Dunboyne recovered to trail by only 0-9 to 2-4 at the interval, but further goals in the first eight minutes of the second period from Byrne and Joe Sheridan helped Seneschalstown to push clear again.

Mark Collins contributed 11 points as Bellewstown defeated Seneschalstown in this Junior B game at Duleek on Sunday evening.
Bellewstown led by 1-5 to 0-7 at the interval after playing against the stiff breeze, with the goal coming from Kieran Collins.
Some superb points from Mark Collins and two spectacular long-range efforts by Philip Reilly helped them push clear in the second-half.
Mark Collins, Reilly, John Flood, David Rogers and David Mullaney were particularly impressive for Bellewstown.

A strong St. Cianans team raced into an early four points lead. A fine save from Ciaran Flynn inspired Seneschalstown and playing some lovely football they went into a three points lead through James Conlon 1-2, Sean McCabe 0-1 and Mark Gilsenan 0-1. St.Cianans responded strongly and added six unanswered points before the break.

Seneschalstown qualified to meet St. Cianans in the U-16 Div.2 league final by defeating St. Colmcilles by 2-9 to 1-10 in Slane on Thurs.5th July.

In a tense exciting match an injury time goal from James Conlon sealed victory for Seneschalstown after St.Colmcilles had taken a one point lead with a last minute goal.

Brian Clarke’s brilliantly taken goal approaching the three-quarter stage proved decisive as Seneschalstown scored a home win over Summerhill in the A FL Div. 1 on Thursday evening.
David Lyons, Paul Carey, Colin Clarke, Damien Sheridan, Andy McCann, Clarke and top-scorer Brian Sheridan were particularly effective for Seneschalstown who led by 0-8 to 0-5 at the interval.
