Seneschalstown came close to upsetting favourites Navan O’Mahonys in the Commons Hardware SFC final at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday but a 58th minute point from Stephen MacGabhann earned the Brews Hill side a second chance.
Then in stoppage time at the end of a disapointing hour’s football, Seneschalstown substitute Shane Clarke was wide with a free from the right that if converted would have given the Yellow Furze side their first SFC title since 1994 and third in all.

Sat 20th Oct Seneschalstown 2-8 Dunderry 0-10.
H.T.Seneschalstown 0-2, Dunderry 0-7.
Again Seneschalstown started slowly and could only manage 0-2 from Niall Groome and Teane Cummins in the first half despite some other good chances while Dunderry registered 0-7(0-3 frees). With Groome and Tim Kiernan dominating midfield and Cormac Noonan and Dessie Seepersad tight at the back Seneschalstown took control.

Playing against a strong breeze Seneschalstown could only manage 0-2 from Gerard McHendry and James Conlon in the first half as St.Pats registered 0-7. As the breeze eased St.Pats. continued to dominate and add on the points and only a few fine saves fom goalie Ciaran Flynn kept Seneschalstown in the game.

A BLISTERING start to the second-half and sheer tenacity when Simonstown threatened their lead were the main ingredients in Seneschalstown`s deserved victory in this highly entertaining SFC semi-final at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday evening.
Joe and Brian Sheridan both scored goals in the space of a minute after the break to earn the Yellow Furze team an eight-point lead, but they managed only two points subsequently as Simonstown attacked relentlessly in a bid to rescue a desperate situation.

Meath u-15 Div.2B played in Dunganny Sat.Oct 6th.The game was played in Meath's new centre of excellence to facilitate Moynalvey timewise and Seneschalstown seniors were training for the semi final on the home pitch.

Seneschalstown 3-10 Naomh Malachy (Louth) 1-02
Seneschalstown booked a Leinster SFC semi-final place following a comprehensive victory over Louth champions Naomh Malachy in foggy conditions in Kilcurly on Friday night. Fiona Mahon led the way for the Meath champions in the first half with 5 points to her credit however the home sides defence caused problems for the Yellow furze side who were guilty of 9 wides in the opening half.
