Grainne Nulty scored 3-5 to secure a comprehensive win for the Seneschalstown side in this 2nd round Div 1 league tie played at Seneschalstown on Saturday evening. The home side started brightly with Nulty (2) and Linda Quinn firing a hat-trick of goals in the opening half and with Siobhan and Mary Sheridan dominating the midfield exchanges the Yellow Furze side held a comfortable lead at half-time.

Seneschalstown Ladies first league game of the year resulted in home win over 2008 league winners Dunboyne. Sister act Roisin and Grainne Nulty dominated the first half score board for the home side with six points between them. Grainne McGowan and the excellent Emma Harris chipped in with a point each but it was Dunboyne who finished the first half with 1-1 to leave them only one point adrift at half time.
