This was Seneschalstown's first time putting out a second team in the Meath League. The match was a home game against Duleek and the away team came out the better at the end.

The first half of this game was a very well contested game by both sides and both started well with 1 goal each, Seneschalstown's coming from the foot of Jessie Brannigan. At half time the sides were close at 2-3 to 2-4 with Simonstown, 1 point to the better.

Three first half goals from Stephen Kennedy (2) and Willie Ryan paved the way for this Division 1 FL win for Summerhill.
The eventual winners led by 3-06 to 1-05 at the interval.

Saturday 20th March - Seneschalstown 2-9 Oldcastle 1-8
On a very breezy Saturday afternoon the Under 12 competition began for Seneschalstown against Oldcastle at home. This game used the fair play rule with 13 a-side. It was a well fought after game from both sides and there was a strong breeze. The home team started well with a goal from Tara Hanlon and then Oldcastle replied with five unanswered points. This left it at 1-0 to 1-0 to 1-6 to Oldcastle at the break.

Sunday 14th March - Seneschalstown 4-12 Na Fianna 0-5
On a sunny March evening in Seneschalstown the Meath league began for the reigning senior league champions. They started there defence of this cup well by beating Na Fianna. Fiona Mahon settled the home team by converting a free after 2 minutes of the throw-up. Senechalstown used there target of Grainne Nulty well and the forwards around her supported her well.
