Scoring Bursts Secure Victory

U-17 League Division 4 Round 1

Seneschalstown 5-11 North Meath Gaels 2-08

Seneschalstown got their U-17 League campaign underway on Friday evening in Drumconrath with a comfortable twelve point victory over their amalgamated opposition. Shorn of five members of the side which claimed U-16 honours last summer the team had an unfamiliar look to it but they do say that one man’s misfortune is another’s opportunity and each player on display against the North Meath outfit contributed to the victory.

Club Competition: With the summer holidays just around the corner we have decided it's a great time to have a photo competition. The prize will be a year’s family membership for 2015 for one lucky family.

We are going to spread the Seneschalstown gospel across the world but need your help.

We are looking for photos of our juvenile members on their holidays wearing their Seneschalstown gear. The photo can be taken in Bundoran, Barcelona or Boston ......

Another option would be to take a photo at a famous landmark such as Buckingham Palace!

The sizable crowd who journeyed to Ashbourne on Monday evening to take in the encounter between Seneschalstown and St. Patrick’s were treated to an excellent game of football full of attacking endeavour and played in a fine spirit. At the end of a game which featured a superb comeback from the men in white Seneschalstown could count themselves somewhat fortunate to emerge victorious as it appeared late on as though the game was likely to need extra time to separate the two sides.

Simonstown Snatch Late Draw

All County Football A League Division 1 Round 6

Seneschalstown 2-10 Simonstown Gaels 2-10

On most occasions when the second match on a double bill provides eighteen less scores than the curtain raiser it is viewed as a poor match but on this occasion the crowd in Fr. Tully Park were treated to two excellent matches as like the preceding U-14 clash this A League Round 6 match was in the melting pot right until the death when a last gasp goal into the railway end from a free levelled matters for the last time.
