Seneschalstown 3-14 St. Oliver’s 2-14

Seneschalstown opened their Under 17 Division 2 account with a well-deserved victory over St. Oliver’s under lights in Ballinlough on a 3-14 to 2-14 score line. St. Oliver’s started on fire and were seven points up after ten minutes and looked to be cruising as they split open the Seneschalstown defence on numerous occasions.

U-15 Division 2 League Semi-Final

Seneschalstown 2-13 Walterstown 2-12

The sky may have been almost on the ground in Fr. Tully Park on Sunday morning as the November fog lay across the field but the U-15 footballers of Seneschalstown and Walterstown lit the ground up with a scintillating semi-final which ultimately went down to the death as it wasn’t until the eightieth minute of the game that the home side hit the front for the first time since the sixteenth minute.

Coolrite Refrigeration U-21 Championship Quarter Final

Seneschalstown 5-10 Skryne 3-16

Absorbing, captivating, compelling, enchanting, enthralling. These are just some words that could be used to describe this U-21 Championship quarter final between Seneschalstown and Skryne. Over the course of eighty minutes this match ebbed and flowed with both sides experiencing periods of dominance while kicking outstanding scores. Its doubtless supporters at any other game in the county would have got better value for a €5 admission anywhere over the weekend.
