Coca Cola Meath Ladies Senior Football Championship Round 1
Dee Rangers 0-11 Seneschalstown 1-18
Seneschalstown opened their 2016 Coca Cola Ladies Senior Football Championship with a deserved win over Dee Rangers in Meath Hill. The pitch was in excellent condition despite a heavy Downpour leading up to the game which made conditions a little slippy underfoot.
Last week was a very busy one for the Seneschalstown U-14’s but also a very profitable one as they started the Summer League with two wins.
U-14 Summer League Roinn B Round 1

Meath Reserve League Round 4
Seneschalstown 2-08 Skryne 1-12
Seneschalstown fell to defeat on Sunday morning in the Reserve League following a disappointing second half performance in which they failed to get going. Leading at half time they looked to be in a good position to kick on but it was the Skryne men who looked livelier in the closing thirty minutes with Seneschalstown having a tendency to over play the ball as they worked it into a scoring position.

Seneschalstown 8-07 Royal Gaels 7-05
On a stunning day where the mercury was rising and temperatures hitting dizzy heights the U-14 ladies of Seneschalstown and Dunshaughlin served up a fitting finale to the season with a hugely enjoyable game that had goals galore of the highest quality with the Furze Girls proving just too strong for a superb Royal Gaels outfit in Division 1 Shield Final played under blue skies in Dunganny.
JMB Sportsfield Services Feis Cup Quarter Final
Rathkenny 1-06 Seneschalstown 3-09
It wasn’t a game which will live long in the memory but at the end of the hour it was Seneschalstown who progressed to the semi-final of the Feis Cup, a competition they last won in 2014. Although both teams were missing some key performers, neither will be satisfied with the level of performance they displayed, with a lot of play breaking down through sloppy passing while a plethora of good scoring opportunities were missed by the two teams.
