Seneschalstown Junior C Ladies qualified for the Junior C championship Semi-Final with victory over old rivals St Ultans in Fr Tully Park.
The first half was a tight affair and Anna Wogan put the home team in front with a point from play but the visitors scored their first goal shortly afterwards. It took the home team a while to get going and two points from Shirley Quinn kept the home team in touch.

With both sides tipped by the ‘experts’ to be among those in danger of relegation to the Intermediate ranks this was a game which if Sky had an interest in the club game would have been billed as a relegation six pointer. Typical though of what a win can do to change attitudes, the talk among Seneschalstown supporters after their win was now of a possible path to the quarter finals.

On an evening where some serious rain showers fell in Dunshaughlin Round 4 SFC the teams from Dunshaughlin and Yellow Furze served up a very entertaining game with little more than a kick of a ball separated the teams throughout with Royal Gaels taking the spoils.

On a glorious evening for football our Senior ladies still looking for their first win in the Senior Championship overcame a strong Dee Rangers side on Tuesday night in what was a crunch tie.
Leading from the start our former outfield All Star Grainne Nulty who took up her position between the sticks was a driving force behind the team with fantastic distribution and a particular game saving save deep in the second half.

Seneschalstown secured a ladies Div. 5 league final place after this good win over a gallant St Colmcilles outfit in Fr Tully Park.
With the sun peeking thru the clouds and gloomy drizzly evening leaving a team of youth and experience took to the pitch to do battle.
