15's acquit themselves well in 7's

Due to a number of teams not showing up there was a change to the original fixtures so our first game was against a very strong Clan Na Gael outfit and both teams traded scores for the first half and at half time the scores were; Seneschalstown 0–06 Clan Na Gael 0-04.

In the second half the Seneschalstown lads really settled into the game and pressed hard all over the pitch eventually running out 8 pt. winners, final score;
Seneschalstown 0-14 Clann Na Gael 0-06

Clan Na Gael went on to win the shield competition.

Sands of time run out on comeback

Under 15 Player Profiles

Adam O’Mara – A strong and speedy athlete who possesses an ability to make plenty of yards with ball in hand. Also acts as an able target man in the full forward line with the ability to win his own ball.

Alan Mulvany – One of four U-15 players with a Minor Championship medal from this year, Mulvany is deadly accurate and is well able to cover plenty of ground from his midfield berth. His link play is second to none and will be key on Friday night.
