Finnegan Fires Furze Into Final Four

Kepak Senior Championship Quarter Final

Seneschalstown 2-06 Navan O’Mahonys 1-08

Seneschalstown booked their place in the semi-final of the Kepak Senior Championship for the second year in a row following a gutsy one point win over 2021 Intermediate champions Navan O’Mahony’s in Paddy O’Brien Park on Saturday evening.

The equation was a lot more straight forward for Barry Clarke’s charges this weekend following last Saturday’s dramatic win over Simonstown Gaels which assured them a place in then knockout stages.

LGFA League Division 1

Seneschalstown 2-10 Simonstown Gaels 2-08

Seneschalstown recorded their 3rd win of the Division 1 League with a two point win over Simonstown Gaels in Seneschalstown on Thursday night. Two late points helped them edge over the line following a spirited fightback from the North Navan side, helped by two sin bins on the Seneschalstown side. With preparation less than ideal for the home side, they will be happy have picked up three valuable points.

As per the LGFA rules, the game started with 14 a side as the visitors were only able to field with that number.

Lightening Quick Start Propels Minors into Final

2021 Meath LGFA Minor Football Championship Division 1/2 Semi Final

Seneschalstown 1-18 Walterstown 3-09

Our Minor Girls of 2021 booked their place in the final of the delayed 2021 Division 1/2 Championship after beating Walterstown in a superbly entertaining encounter on Sunday evening.

Having not played in a number of weeks, both teams would have been forgiven for taking time to find their feet, but Seneschalstown came flying out of the blocks going at a rate of almost a point a minute for the first seven minutes.
