On a glorious evening for football our Senior ladies still looking for their first win in the Senior Championship overcame a strong Dee Rangers side on Tuesday night in what was a crunch tie.

Leading from the start our former outfield All Star Grainne Nulty who took up her position between the sticks was a driving force behind the team with fantastic distribution and a particular game saving save deep in the second half.

Seneschalstown Senior ladies crossed the river Boyne to Simonstown on Wednesday night to try to pick up some badly needed points against the table toppers of Division 1 was always going to be a hard ask and they almost came away with a win on a memorable night after a hard-fought defeat which saw them concede 2 goals in the last 5 minutes of the game.

An absorbing game from start to finish saw a Seneschalstown outfit who were minus their younger players due to the U-16 Championship Semi Final Friday and some key players missing prove that there is life in the old dog yet which seen them overturn a 6 point deficit at half time to claim their first victory of the 2017 season in stunning fashion on a glorious evening for football at the excellent Syddan grounds.
