Due to a number of teams not showing up there was a change to the original fixtures so our first game was against a very strong Clan Na Gael outfit and both teams traded scores for the first half and at half time the scores were; Seneschalstown 0–06 Clan Na Gael 0-04.

In the second half the Seneschalstown lads really settled into the game and pressed hard all over the pitch eventually running out 8 pt. winners, final score;
Seneschalstown 0-14 Clann Na Gael 0-06

Clan Na Gael went on to win the shield competition.

Our second game was against Rathkenny which this was a totally different approach and we never got going and were always playing catch up with a well drilled Rathkenny team, eventually losing out by 6pt with final score:
Seneschalstown 0-06 Rathkenny 0-12

Our third game was against a big strong Blackhall Gaels team and was a must win.in order to qualify for the cup qtr. finals and this is where the lads really turned on the style and eventually ran out comfortable winners, final score;
Seneschalstown 0-20 Blackhall Gaels 0-03

In the Quarter final of the cup we were drawn to play Ratoath and this was without doubt the best of all the games. This Ratoath outfit operate in Div. one and are one of the strongest teams in the county but the Seneschalstown lads took the game to them from the word go with some great scores and hard work from every player, and we lead by the minimum at half time, with the half time score;

Seneschalstown 0-08 Ratoath 0-07

The second half was even more exciting and again both teams traded scores but Ratoath just got the couple of extra scores that made the difference and in the end won by a single point, final score;

Seneschalstown 0-14 Ratoath 0-15

This was a great performance from a Seneschalstown team who never stopped working and showed great passages of play throughout and can be very proud of their performance.

Ratoath went on to compete in the final.

Seneschalstown players: Jamie Kirwan, Cillian Lawlor, Cathal Hickey, Simon Rooney, Joseph Moore, Ross Mullen, Liam Maguire, Seanie Dalton, Woodley Nicholson, Alan Carey.
