Seneschalstown 2-11 Moylagh 1-12

Seneschalstown made the journey to North Meath to take on Moylagh in Round 2 of the league a successful one as they collected both points to back up their victory over Clonard in Round 1.

With the team showing six changes in personnel from their opening round win this shows that there is good strength in depth in the ranks and will lend optimism as the team and management look towards the year ahead.

At the end of the first half there was little doubt that Seneschalstown were in a battle as they trailed by a point, 0-08 to 1-06.

In the second half Edward Meade who had played a few hours earlier for the minors was sprung from the bench and contributed a goal as Seneschalstown outscored their opponents by 2-03 to 0-06 in the second period.
