Senior
Following their opening round defeat in the Hoganstand.com Senior Football Championship our Senior side have a break of two weeks before taking on Skryne in Ratoath on Sunday April 26th at 18:00.

Skryne started out with a victory over St. Patrick’s on Saturday and will provide a tough test but David Hosie’s side will be confident of bouncing back to winning ways.

Junior B
The Junior B team will open their bid to go one better than last year when they take on Navan O’Mahonys in the opening round of the Seamus Connolly Catering Junior B Football Championship in Simonstown on Sunday April 19th. Throw in on the day is fixed for 12:00. Best of luck to the management team of Michael Dillon, Declan Byrne and Steven Dillon and all the players.

Junior D
Having been beaten in the final in 2013 and at the semi-final stage in 2014 the Junior D side will be looking to get their hands on some silverware this year. With this in mind they will get their Championship campaign underway with a game against Bective on Sunday April 19th in Simonstown at 13:30. Best of luck to all the players and the management team of Paul Finnegan, Michael Mullen and Leo Sheridan.

Strictly Come Dancing
The countdown to our Strictly Come Dancing 2015 event is now on with just a month left until the big night and the thirty dancers are all busy getting acquainted with the task of learning their moves ahead of the big extravaganza in the Knightsbrook Hotel on Friday May 15th. Tickets are now on sale from the dancers and from members of the committee.

The fifteen couples are – John Smith and Sarah Clancy, Shane Corbally and Carmel Healy, Conor Cowley and Sarah Muldoon, Eoin Battersby and Joyce McDonagh, Derek Carroll and Pamela Ryan, Cormac Noonan and Colleen O’Dea, Darrell McAuley and Karen Lynch, Adam Carey and Ellen Sheridan, Andrew Mooney and Aoife Stanley, Grainne Kennedy and Niall Groome, David Clarke and Nicola McDonagh, Jim Rooney and Deirdre Naughton, Thomas Daly and Jennifer Monaghan, Liam Sharp and Audrey O’Reilly.

Under 16
The U-16 side recorded a fine 8-07 to 2-07 win over Donaghmore/Ashbourne in Round 2 of the Division 2 League. This was a welcome victory after their opening day loss to St. Colmcilles and they will now look to stay on the winning path this evening (Tuesday) when taking on Navan O’Mahonys in Brews Hill at 19:00.

Next Tuesday (April 21st) they will play host to Drumconrath/Meath Hill in Fr. Tully Park at 19:00.

Under 14
The U-14’s had a very profitable evening last Thursday when accounting for Navan O’Mahonys by 7-14 to 1-10. The side turned in an excellent first half at the end of which they led by 5-10 to 0-04 and kept the scoreboard ticking over in the second to emerge as comfortable winners.

Next up for this team is a home game against Round Towers in Fr. Tully Park on Thursday April 23rd at 19:00

Under 12
The U-12’s have had a busy week with two games played. First up they were in Donore last Wednesday when they had a victory over their hosts before losing out to Duleek/Bellewstown on Monday evening in Fr. Tully Park.

Next up for them is a game against St. Colmcilles in Piltown which has been provisionally fixed for Saturday.

Seneschalstown Nursery
Our U-10’s had an opportunity to show off their talents in Páirc Tailteann last Friday evening when playing the Navan O’Mahonys U-10’s at half time of the Senior Championship match.

The U-6’s and U-8’s had coaching in Fr. Tully Park on Saturday morning with massive numbers in attendance.

This weekend the U-8’s and U-10’s will be back in action as we host a Go Games Blitz in Fr. Tully Park on Saturday while the U-6’s will have coaching as per normal.

For the Go Games blitz Curraha, Ratoath and Walterstown will be the visiting clubs.

Cake Sale
The Ladies section of the club will hold a cake sale following 10:30 mass in Church of the Assumption Beauparc/Yellow Furze on Sunday morning. There are sure to be plenty of nice cakes and treats on offer. All support would be appreciated on Sunday.

Girls Under 16
The U-16’s travel to Oldcastle on Wednesday evening to take on their hosts in Millbrook at 19:30 and their coaching takes place on Monday evenings from 19:00 – 20:00 in Fr. Tully Park.

Girls Under 14:
The U-14 Girls play Oldcastle on Sunday at 17:00 in Fr. Tully Park while their coaching continues on Monday evenings from 19:00 – 20:00 in Fr. Tully Park.

Girls Under 12
The U-12 Girls had a superb win last Thursday when they defeated Walterstown by 4-05 to 0-01.

Girls Under 10
The U-10 Girls play Rathkenny in Kentstown next Monday, April 27th, at 18:45.

Lotto
The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 4, 19, 26 and 27. There was no winner of the jackpot of €6,800. Next week’s jackpot will be worth €6,900. The 5 x €25 winners are Mary Gordon, Elizabeth Sheridan, Caroline Mooney, Joanne Owens and Patricia McKeown.

Meath Minors
Best of luck to the Meath Minors who take on Laois in the opening round of the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship on Saturday at 15:00 in Páirc Tailteann. With Adam Carey and Niall Hickey on the panel as well as Joe Sheridan a selector we are well represented this year and it would be wonderful to see the side have a good run in the Championship.

Meath Ladies Senior
The Meath Seniors brought the curtain down on their Tesco Homegrown National Football League on Sunday when falling to defeat against Cavan. This concludes a difficult campaign for the side and their focus will now turn to the upcoming Leinster Championship.
