Seneschalstown eased past Blackhall Gaels in the sixth round of the Divsion 1 B League in Kilcloon on Monday evening.

The Yellow Furze side started strong with points from play on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd minute from Joey Macken, Ross Walsh (45) and Shane Clarke. Clarke pointed another from play on the 6th minute before Balckhall opened there scoring on the 7th and another on the 9th. Clarke then found the back of the net for Seneschalstown with a well struck goal on the 10th minute. Seneschalstown increased there score line with a point from play on the 15th minute from full forward David Hosey. Another goal chance came for Seneschalstown on the 23rd minute when Paul Garry slotted the ball to the back of the net. Further points from play from James Conlon and Clarke on the 24th and 28th minute respectively which left Seneschalstown with an 11 point lead going into the break.

Again Seneschalstown opened the second half strongest with points from play from Macken, Hosey (2, 1free) and Garry before they conceeded a penalty on the 45th minute which Blackhall kicked to the back of the net but was also there only score of the second half. Jonathan Gilsenan kicked over the black spot on the 50th minute leaving Seneschalstown 2-13 to 1-03. The Yellow Furze side increased there lead with points from play from Niall Groome, Garry, Gilsenan and Clarke.
