Seneschalstown suffered a heavy defeat against Simonstown in the 6th round of the Division 1 B League.
The home side started of bright with a goal and eight points in the opening 15 minutes. Seneschalstown got there first score on the 18th minute with a free from Jonathan Gilsenan. But again Simonstown soon added 2 further points from play on the 24th and 25th minutes. The Yellow Furze side got there second score on the 27th minute with another free from Gilsenan leaving Simonstown up by 12 points going into the break.
Seneschalstown seem to have gotten over there bad first half display and opened the second half with a point from play from Gilsenan. But again Simonstown reacted well to this with a fine display of points. Gilsenan got another point from free on the 48th minute which was soon followed by a point from play from Gerry Mc Kendry on the 49th minute. The last score of the match fell to Seneschalstown with a goal from substitute Max Mc Farland on the 57th minute but was not enough and left Simonstown with a 15 point score difference.
