Seneschalstown lost out to Simonstown in this U10 league match played in sunny conditions at Seneschalstown. The teams were evenly matched except on the scoreboard with both teams competing well and having spells of dominance. The Simonstown girls were more accurate but both teams had a similar amount of chances. Simonstown opened the scoring and scored 3 points before Leah Ryan go Seneschalstown’s first score after 14 minutes. Simonstown scored a further 1-1 before the break to lead 1-4 to 0-1. Simonstown started the second half on top but good defending by Seneschalstown limited Simonstown to a goal. The Seneschalstown girls got very much on top during the last quarter but accuracy in front of goal let them down. Sinead McLarney eventually got Seneschalstown second score with 5 minutes left.
