Seneschalstown 3-20 Royal Gaels 1-03

In a game played in the fine surrounds of Dunshaughlin GFC’s grounds in very pleasant autumn weather, Seneschalstown’s minor girls hit the ground running and dominated from the start. Key aspects of their performance were their positive attitude and willingness to work together as a team. The girls produced many passages of play where players came out of defence at pace and interlinked with attacking forwards to complete many fine scores. When the half time interval arrived the game was largely over as a contest as the Seneschalstown girls held a commanding lead, Seneschalstown 3-13 Royal Gaels 0-01

Throughout the second half Seneschalstown remained focused on the task in hand and finished out the game with some ease. Players to impress for Seneschalstown were Zoe Enright, Laura Wall, Lauren Kelleher, midfield players Nina Simpson and Natasha Mullen with Kiah Geraghty and Aoife Lenihan up front.
