Seneschalstown overcame Boardsmill in the second round of the Junior B Goup C Championship in Kilmainham on Sunday morning last.

Both sides exchanged points in the 3rd minute but Seneschalstown soon increased there lead with another point from free on the 8th minute from Niall Lyons. Lyons soon added a point from play on the 9 minute but Boardsmill reacted well with a point from play on the 10th minute. Mark Gilsenan and Gary Conlon added to the Yellow Furze scoreline on the 11th and 14th minutes respectively. Goal came for Seneschalstown on the 25th minute when Joey Macken struck the back of the net. Lyons added another point from play on the 29th minute leaving 4 points between the side.

Boardsmill opened the scoring in the second half with a point from free on the 35th minute. Seneschalstown soon cancelled this out with a point from free from on form Neil Darby on the 36th minute. Seneschalstown increased there scoreline further with point from play on the 38th, 40th and 41st minutes from substitute Jonathan Gilsenan, Paul Garry and Conlon. Boardsmill received a penalty in the 49th minute which was saved well by the Yellow Furze goalie Weslie Mc Donagh but the reflection was stuck to the back of the net leaving just 2 points between the sides. Seneschalstown finished off there scoring on the 53rd and 61st minutes with points from play from Joey Macken and James Conlon.
