Girls U-10
After saving their €2 every week at training our U-10 girls had their fun day out where they bussed it to Showtime cinemas in Ashbourne to watch Robinson Crusoe before going to Awesome Walls in Dublin where they had a ball.
Then after a sing song on the bus we pulled into the Fork Restaurant for a well-deserved feed.
Many thanks to the mentors for helping out on the day and also to the kind parents who sponsored the kiddie’s combo in the cinema.
This is all very much appreciated.

Photos from the day can be seen here – https://www.facebook.com/SeneschalstownGFC/photos/?tab=album&album_id=13…

Coaching continues on Mondays from 18:00 – 19:00.

Player of the Week
Congratulation to Steven Dillon, our latest recipient of the Player of the Week Award.

In last Friday’s Junior C Championship game Steven, operating in the half forward line, having operated at centre back for the last few years lit up Drumconrath with a sparkling display as he struck 1-04 over the hour.

Twenty-two years on from when he was the young whipper snapper at corner forward on the Keegan Cup winning team Steven is still putting in match winning performances for the club which is truly remarkable.

Always one to do whatever he can to help the club he one year ago in the midst of an injury crisis lined out for the Seniors once more while he’s a selector with the Junior A’s and coaches the U-10’s as well as serving on the club committee.

Steven is truly a most deserving recipient of this week’s award.

Club Lotto
The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 3, 6, 23 and 25. There was no winner of the jackpot of €10,000 which means next week’s jackpot will once more be worth €10,000. The 5 by €25 winners were Paul Butterly, Francis Flynn, Frankie Smith, Tommy Collins and Patricia Maguire.

Tickets for the Lotto are €2 or 3 for €5. They can be purchased from committee members, Lotto sellers, local shops or you can also play online at http://www.helpourclub.ie/localhome.asp?
