Duleek / Bellewstown were first on the scoreboard with a well struct goal in the opening minute. Shane Clarke opened the scoring for the Yellow Furze side on the 4th minute. But with points from play on the 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th for Duleek / Bellewstown seen the side go 6 points. Seneschaltown secured a free on the 17th minute which seen David Hosey step up and kick over the bar. Goal came for Seneschalstown on the 21st minute when Peter Watters found the back of the net. Damien Sheridan quickly added to the goal with a point on the 24th minute. Duleek / Bellewstown soon cancelled out that point on the 28th minute but conceeded a free on the 30th minute which Clarke stuck over the bar leaving just a point between the sides going into the break of half time.
Duleek / Bellewstown opened the scoring in the second half with a point from play on the 33rd minute however conceeded another free on 36th minute which again seen Clarke slot over the bar. With Seneschalstown now conceeding frees Duleek / Bellewstown gained 2 points on the 41st and 43rd minute and got another point from play on the 44th minute. Half back Paul Carey narrowed the gap with a fisted point on the 46th minute. Peter Watters added to this on the 48th minute with a point from play. Duleek / Bellewstown got 2 further points on the 49th and a free on the 52nd minute from Peter Curran leaving 5 points between the sides. Hosey soon narrowed that gap with a point from play on the 53rd minute. Ciaran Macken luckily found the back of the net on the 56th minute when a high ball into the square seen Macken fist the ball to the back of the net leaving the sides level with 4 minutes to go. Duleek / Bellewstown got another point from play on the 58th minute but was soon cancelled out on the 60th minute leaving Seneschalstown breathing a sigh of relief with a well needed draw match.
