Fantasy Gaelic: There is a Seneschalstown League on this year’s Fantasy Gaelic competition for the upcoming Championship. To register log on to www.fantasygaelic.ie. This gives people a chance to pit their wits against other people both within the club and throughout the country and see who emerges victorious. The deadline for selecting teams is Saturday May 17th at 18:00.

Senior: The Senior team recommence their Hoganstand.com Meath Senior Football Championship campaign in Dunsany on Sunday against Dunshaughlin. Having picked up one point out of a possible four so far victory is vital on Sunday if they team is to progress to the quarter final stage later in the championship. Throw in on Sunday is scheduled for 16:45

They will also take on Rathkenny in the Feis Cup in Fr. Tully Park on Wednesday May 21st at 19:30.

Junior B: The Junior B team hosted Skryne in the latest round of their league on Saturday evening. Following a blistering start which gave them a twelve point lead at half time they emerged victorious by 0-15 to 1-07.

Their next championship game is on Friday May 23rd against Gaeil Colmcille in Carlanstown at 19:30.

Junior D: The busy times continue for the Junior D panel. Last Wednesday they were defeated by Curraha in the league by 5-10 to 1-08. Then on Sunday they travelled to take on Ballivor and while down to the bare bones in terms of personnel came home with the two points after an outstanding team performance. The full time score was Seneschalstown 3-10 Ballivor 0-05.

Their third round game in the championship forms the second part of the double header in Dunsany when they also take on Dunshaughlin. Dunshaughlin are also unbeaten in the championship so far and this promises to be an excellent match. Throw in is at 18:15.

Under 16: The Spring League campaign for the U-16 panel came to a close last Tuesday when they were defeated by an excellent Jenkinstown Gaels team who are made up of players from Blackhall Gaels and Moynalvey. The final score on a wet night in Moynalvey was Jenkinstown Gaels 4-11 Seneschalstown 2-09.

Under 12: The U-12 team were defeated by Trim on Wednesday evening in Round 5 of the Spring League by 37 scores to 21 following two very good games of football.

Next up is a Round 7 game in the Spring League against St. Cuthberts in Bohermeen on Wednesday May 14th at 19:15.

Seneschalstown Nursery: The third blitz of the season for our U-8 and U-10 panels will take place in Skryne on Saturday morning. The U-8 team are asked to be in Skryne at 10:40 while the U-10 blitz will be on after this.
The coaches for each team will be in touch with all the parents with the details in due course.

Coaching for the U-6 children will continue on Saturday in Seneschalstown at 11:00. Tea and Coffee is now being served during the coaching in the clubhouse for parents.

Girls U-14: Girls U-14 training continues on Wednesdays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.

Girls U-10: Girls U-10 continues on Mondays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.

Lotto: The numbers drawn in this weeks Lotto were 1, 9, 13 and 28. There was no winner of the jackpot of €2,200. Next weeks jackpot will be worth €2,300. The 5 x €25 winners are Avril McKeever, Kieran Mulvany, Michael Boylan, Desmond Gray and Aidan Lawlor.

The numbers drawin in last weeks Lotto were 5, 13, 15 and 23. The 5 x €25 winners were Una McCabe,
Avril McKeever, Mark McGovern, Johnny Farrell and Maria Macken.

Club/School Link: Last Wednesday the Junior and Senior Infants from Yellow Furze NS enjoyed coaching which was led by our School Liaison Officer Gerry McDonnell. A fantastic morning was had by all. Coaching continues in Kentstown NS and Yellow Furze NS on Friday morning.

Meath: The Meath team defeated Galway by 0-17 to 0-13 on Sunday in a challenge game played in Ratoath.
The team will take on Cork on Sunday in Skryne in another challenge match.

Meath Minors: The Meath Minor team plays Dublin in the Leinster Minor Championship Quarter Final on Saturday in Parnell Park. Best of luck to Adam Carey and the entire panel for the game.

Meath U-14: Congratulations to Dylan Keating who has been selected to attend training for the Meath U-14 panel on Thursday in Dunganny.

Meath Ladies: The Ladies team played out a 1-06 apiece draw with Tyrone in a challenge match in Ratoath on Sunday.

Meath Ladies U-16: Commiserations to Natasha Mullen and the Meath U-16 team who lost out to Dublin in the Leinster Final on Sunday in Athy. While there was great disappointment on Sunday this has been an excellent season for the team.

Blood Donation: The GAA have a link up with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service and this week, May 13-15 they will be in the Community Centre in Navan from 17:00 to 20:30 each evening for donations.
