Senior: The Senior team recorded their first victory in the championship so far this season when defeating Dunshaughlin by 1-11 to 2-05 on Sunday in Dunsany. This leaves them on three points out of a possible six so far and in their next game in the championship they will play Simonstown Gaels.

They will play Rathkenny in the Feis Cup in Fr. Tully Park on Wednesday May 28th at 19:30

Junior B: The Junior B team play Gaeil Colmcille on Friday in Carlanstown at 19:30 in Round 3 of the Seamus Connolly Catering Meath Junior B Football Championship. They have two wins from two and will be looking to keep up their good run of form on Friday evening.

Junior D: In the second championship game in Dunsany on Sunday the Junior D team emerged victorious by 3-13 to 0-05 over the previously unbeaten Dunshaughlin. This result leaves them in an excellent position to qualify from the group for the quarter finals as they have now won three games from three in their group.

Under 14: The U-14 team was defeated by Donaghmore Ashbourne last Wednesday in their first game of the Division 1 Football Cup. The full time score was Donaghmore Ashbourne 6-10 Seneschalstown 5-07.

They have a very busy week this week with three games in the competition. First up is a home game versus St. Colmcilles this evening, Tuesday. Next up is another home match on Thursday against Skryne while on Saturday they are away to Ratoath.

Under 12: The U-12 team beat St. Cuthberts in Round 7 of their Spring League by twenty seven scores to twenty three in Sean Newman Park, Bohermeen last Wednesday.

They are now scheduled to have a home semi final on Wednesday.

Seneschalstown Nursery: The third blitz of the season for our U-8 and U-10 panels took place in Skryne on Saturday morning last.

Two teams of U-10’s took to the field in sunny Skryne on Saturday for the latest round of Go-Games blitz.
Great skills and determination were on display as they took on the host club and Na Fianna in a series of 3 games each.
Both squads were very competitive and it was great to see how these young players are developing the concepts of team play, score taking and defending.
Well done to all on a great day of football and also to Skryne on hosting a very efficient blitz day.

There were also terrific performances on Saturday by the three Seneschalstown U-8 teams against Na Fianna and Skryne.

Seneschalstown host the next Go Games Blitz on June 7th.

Coaching for the U-10, U-8 and U-6 children will continue on Saturday in Seneschalstown at 11:00. Tea and Coffee is now being served during the coaching in the clubhouse for parents.

Girls U-14: Girls U-14 training continues on Wednesdays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.

Girls U-12: The Girls U-12 team was defeated by Na Fianna by 2-05 to 1-07 last Thursday.

After a thrilling game of football the U-12 girls were just beaten by one point against the undefeated and very strong Na Fianna team.

The girls showed terrific spirit and were most unlucky to concede two easy goals in the last quarter to go five behind with three mins remaining but bravely fought back to within a point before running out of time.

Girls U-10: Girls U-10 continues on Mondays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.

Lotto: The numbers drawn in this weeks Lotto were 1, 9, 13 and 28. There was no winner of the jackpot of €2,300. Next weeks jackpot will be worth €2,400. The 5 x €25 winners are Patricia Finnegan, Johnny Tallon, Una McCabe, Sonya O’Brien and Maria Macken.

Club/School Link: Last Friday the Junior and Senior Infants from Yellow Furze NS enjoyed coaching which was led by our School Liaison Officer Gerry McDonnell. A fantastic morning was had by all.

Meath: The Meath team was defeated by Cork on Sunday in a challenge match in Skryne. The full time score was 3-13 to 0-13.

Meath Minors: The Meath Minor team lost out to Dublin on Saturday by three points in their Leinster Championship Quarter Final which was played in Parnell Park. Hard luck to all the panel and Adam Carey who represented the club on the panel.

Meath U-14: Dylan Keating was in action for Meath in Dunganny on Saturday morning as the U-14 Development Panel took part in a blitz against Kildare, Laois and Louth.

St. Patrick’s Navan: The First Year team in the school won the inaugural Meath 1st Year Football League Division 1 title on Monday in Navan O’Mahonys. The club was very well represented on the panel through Alan Mulvany, Brian Boyd, Dylan Keating, Jason Lyons and Sean Carey. Championship Action: On Saturday evening at 18:00 Ratoath face Wolfe Tones in the Junior D Football Championship in Fr. Tully Park.

Fantasy Gaelic: The Fantasy Gaelic League for the 2014 Championship is up and running. The leader after Week 1 is Eugene Murphy and his Green Giants team with a score of fifty points. You can still enter a team on www.fantasygaelic.ie.
