Wolfe Tones overcame the Yellow Furze side on Tuesday evening last in Seneschalstown which now sees the Kilberry side take on St Cuthberts in the final.

Wolfe Tones were first on the score board with a point from play on the 2nd minute but the home side soon answered with a goal on the 3rd minute from corner forward James Meade. Wolfe Tones reacted well with 2 excellent goals on the 5th and 6th minutes of play but again Seneschalstown replied well to this with a goal on the 7th minute from midfielder Niall Lyons. The second point from play came from the Kilberry side on the 11th minute. Meade slotted over the first point from play for Seneschalstown on the 19th minute but yet another goal came from on form midfielder Fiachra Ward for the Tones on the 29th minute. A great run from Ross Howard seen the ball in the back of the net yet again just before the break of half time leaving just 4 points between the sides.

Seneschalstown were first on the score board in the second half with a point from play from Hugh Maguire in the opening minute. The Tones kicked over 2 points from play in quick concession but Maguire replied well with another point from play on the 33rd minute. Wolfe Tones conceeded a free on the 40th minute which allowed James Meade kick over the bar. The Tones side became strong in midfield which allowed them kick over points from free and play on the 43rd 44th and 49th minutes. But the home side had not sat down and another goal came when a high ball into full forward now acting midfielder Eoghan Noonan seen him fist the ball to the back of the net on the 50th minute. Wolfe Tones reacted well to this and kicked over points from play on the 52nd and 53rd minutes. A fourth goal came for the visitors on the 56th minute leaving 7 points between the sides but Wolfe Tones conceeded a penalty on the 59th minute which allowed Maguire strike to the back of the net. Again the Tones answered back well with there fifth and final goal on the 60th minute of the match leaving them 7 point winners.
