Seneschalstown 1-08 Donaghmore Ashbourne 4-13

It was a meeting of Junior B and Intermediate sides in Fr. Tully Park on a wintery Monday evening and there was little doubt which side were better over the hour as Donaghmore/Ashbourne cantered to a comfortable fourteen point victory over Seneschalstown.

From the outset the Moors were the dominant side as they overwhelmed their hosts, racing into a two goals and nine point to no score lead after twenty one minutes. Aled Ingman drew a foul which Sane Clarke punished when pointing the resultant free. The veteran Clarke then fired over from play after linking up well with Ross Howard and Brendan Lynch. They then grabbed a third point of the half when Jonathan Gilsenan converted a free following a foul on Clarke.

The South Meath men hit three points in a row before Shane Clarke split the posts with his third score.
