Drugs and Mental Health Forum
In association with Slane GFC and St. Mary’s GFC we are delighted to host a Drugs and Mental Health Forum in the Conyngham Arms Hotel on Monday November 28th at 20:00.

The issues of drugs and mental health have never been as prevalent in society as they are today and the three clubs have joined forces to host what will be a very informative evening where raising awareness of the different drugs and what we can do to better our mental health will be key features.

This is especially relevant for all players and parents of players from the ages of 12 and upwards.

Guest speakers on the evening include Minister for Mental Health Helen McEntee, Peter Moroney from SOSAD and the Garda Drug Liaison Officer.

For further information please contact Gerry McDonnell (086 8239770) or Nick Tallon (087 9152026).

Senior
We’re delighted to announce that David Hosie will remain as our senior manager in 2017. David has done excellent work with the team so far in his two years in charge and we are confident 2017 will see further progression.

U-15
The U-15 team will take on Round Towers in the Division 2 League Final this evening (Friday) at 20:00 in Dunganny.

Best of luck to the team and management in what is sure to be a very tough test. As always all support for the side is greatly appreciated.

Minor Ladies
The Minor Ladies were desperately unfortunate to lose out on a place in the Division 1 Championship Final as they were narrowly edged out by Royal Gaels who benefitted from two walkovers to qualify ahead of them by two points.

Having made a massive effort to field a team for every game in the competition despite notable absentees through injury for the entire competition this is a most unfortunate way to exit the competition.

Everybody involved though wish Simonstown and Royal Gaels all the best in the final.

Girls U-13
The vagaries of the playoff system worked against our U-13 Girls at the weekend as they fell to defeat against Walterstown on Sunday afternoon by 6-08 to 8-04. This result sees Dunboyne and Walterstown who had met in the first fixture of the playoff qualify for the Cup Final while we now play St. Colmcilles in the Shield Final.

That Shield Final against the Seasiders will take place on Saturday at 15:30 in Skryne. Supporters are advised that an admission fee of €5 per vehicle.

Seneschalstown: Aoibhe Fitzsimons, Amy Kennedy, Caoimhe Dunne, Zoe Ryan, Ella Kilfeather, Katie McDonnell, Sadhbh McLarney, Zoe Kirwan (1-01), Megan Clarke, Tara Traynor (1-00), Anna Wogan (1-05, 0-02 frees), Robyn Murray (0-02, 0-01 Penalty), Charlie Murray, Nicola Mongey (1-00), Abbey Hewitt (1-00)

Seneschalstown Substitutes: Claire Finnegan, Meadhbh Hickey, Ally Clarke (1-00), Molly Keating, Lauren McGuirk.

Juvenile AGM

Club AGM
The Annual General Meeting for the club will take place on Monday November 21st at 20:00 in the clubhouse.

Leinster Club Championships
The very best of luck to both Simonstown Gaels and St. Colmcilles in the Leinster Club Championships this weekend.

Simonstown take on Offaly kingpins Rhode in the Senior quarter final on Sunday in Tullamore.
