For the second week in succession Seneschalstown’s U-14’s turned in a battling performance but ended up coming out on the wrong side of a one point margin. With only eight minutes on the clock the town side had registered 2-02 before Seneschalstown registered their first score with a point from Ross Mullen and this settled the lads and with further points from Sean Commons, Woodley Nicholson and Simon Rooney they went in at half time only 4 points down, 2-02 to 0-04.

Seneschalstown started the second half the quickest and a goal from Sean Commons and point from Ross Mullen leaving the minimum between the sides but O’Mahony’s rallied with scores of their own and the last 10 minutes were frantic with both teams giving their all and with further goals from Simon Rooney and Will Finnegan but the Seneschalstown lads just couldn’t get the winning score and O’Mahony’s tagged on the last point to win by the minimum.
