Seneschalstown 2-09 Navan O’Mahonys 2-12

The recent winning run in the B League Division 1 came to an end on Monday for Seneschalstown’s Junior B’s when they lost out by three points to Navan O’Mahonys Junior A side.

Trailing by six points at the interval despite getting off to a good start the team management shook up the team for the second half when making a few defensive alterations and making a midfield switch.

These seemed to be working as the deficit was whittled down to three before O’Mahonys broke clear to register their second goal and managed to extend their lead to seven.

Seneschalstown did manage to regroup and worked very hard to get back into the game and by the end had gotten back to three points and indeed things could have been even better for the side as they were unfortunate to hit both posts in the same move while the O’Mahonys goalkeeper pulled off some fine saves.
