Adult Men: Our Adult Men’s team officially return to training this week after the GAA lifted restrictions on adult training. Anthony Malone is in charge of our senior team for the upcoming year, with Kieran Shankey and Alan Geraghty assisting him.

Johnny Keating, Joe Finnegan & Mal Hickey will be in charge of the Premier Championship Division 1 team, while Ian Maguire is once again over the Premier Championship Division 4 team. Ian will have a backroom consisting of Mick Dillon, Shane Finnegan and Fraser Thom.

Meath GAA Competitions (Men): After meeting on Monday night last, the Meath County Board confirmed the fixture calendar for a condensed 2021 season. The Feis Cup will take centre stage once matches recommence for our senior team in June, with each team playing seven matches in the competition plus any potential knockout matches. The Senior Football Championship is pencilled in to start in mid-August.

For both Premier Football Championship teams, the championship will begin in early July and will consist of seven games for each team and also any knock out matches if they qualify.

There are no ‘A’ or ‘B’ league competitions going ahead this year.

Adult Ladies: The Adult Ladies teams also got back out on the pitch this week after restrictions were eased. Derek Byrne and Billy Quaine are over the team for the upcoming season. There is no Junior Ladies management team appointed as of yet.

Meath LGFA Competitions: The Meath LGFA Leagues are due to start on the week ending June 13th. The start date for the Meath Ladies SFC is still to be announced.

Underage Teams: All of our underage teams returned to training in the week beginning April 26th. It was great to see the pitch busy again on most nights of the week.
