Conlon inspires victory

B League Division 2 Round 5

Blackhall Gaels 1-08 Seneschalstown 1-17

The Junior A’s of Seneschalstown picked up their third win of the season to date on Tuesday evening when they overcame a two point deficit at half time to eventually emerge as comfortable nine point winners over Blackhall Gaels.

Fielding a strong starting XV, the visiting side would have been relatively happy at half time, having played into a freshening breeze and had the luxury of having a strong substitutes bench to call on as the game progressed, something which proved to be crucial.

'Town go goal crazy in Dunboyne

A League Division 1 Round 7

St Peter’s Dunboyne 4-13 Seneschalstown 5-12

After getting their season up and running a week earlier with their first victory of the season, Seneschalstown clung on in a frantic injury time on Saturday evening to account for Dunboyne and pick up their second League win of the year to date. In what was an enthralling encounter, full of incident and scores, the visiting side turned in an impressive second half showing to overcome a four point deficit at the interval to edge out Dunboyne.

First win on the board

Meath GAA A league Division 1 Round 6

Seneschalstown 1-16 Navan O’Mahonys 0-10

U-12 Girls edged out by Simonstown

Meath Ladies U-12 Division 2 Round 2

Seneschalstown 1-04 Simonstown 5-06

Seneschalstown lost out to Simonstown in this Round 2 clash in Fr Tully Park.
The Seneschalstown Girls enjoyed plenty of possession in the early stages but just couldn't turn possession into scores. Simonstown were first to score with a midway through the quarter and tagged on an additional 2 goals to lead at quarter time.

Huge numbers togged out in Duleek

Duleek Bellewstown 4-05 Seneschalstown 2-04

Seneschalstown’s U-12 girls opened their Div. 2 Championship with a loss to a physically stronger Duleek Bellewstown outfit in sunny Duleek on Saturday March 25th.

Super victory for U-14 Girls

Meath Ladies U-14 Division 1 Championship

Seneschalstown 6 - 07 to Clann na Gael 1 - 03

It was a wet and windy afternoon in Rathcairn when the Seneschalstown U-14 girls took to the field in their second game of the Division 1 Spring League against Clann na Gael.

15's advance to final

Meath U-15 Division 2 League Semi-Final

Seneschalstown 4-15 Duleek/Bellewstown 2-12

Thursday evening in Donore saw Seneschalstown survive a few scary moments before finally pulling clear of Duleek/Bellewstown to book their place in the upcoming U-15 Division 2 Final against either Simonstown Gaels or Round Towers

Minor marvels bow out

LMFM Meath Minor Championship Division 3 Semi-Final

Ballivor/Boardsmill 6-12 Seneschalstown 2-10

The penultimate hurdle proved to be that little bit too high for a decimated Seneschalstown panel to jump on Friday evening as they fell to defeat against a physically stronger Ballivor/Boardsmill combination under lights in Skryne. Shorn of the services of eight players who were in action in the League Final back in May and with only two players in their last year of playing Minor available this was simply a step too far for a very youthful side.

Walterstown come out on top

U-13 Division 2 Round 4

Walterstown 7-08 Seneschalstown 2-10

On what looked like a summers day in October the Seneschalstown team gave up home advantage and played in Walterstown due to ongoing drainage works which are being carried out in Fr. Tully Park.

The first half saw the side in blue hold their own, put some good passages of play together and take the game to Walterstown. By the break Seneschalstown had managed to open up the slenderest of advantages and led by a point 1-05 to 1-04.

Sportsarama
Tuesday saw almost 120 children enjoy our annual Sportsarama in Fr. Tully Park.
Each and every one of them had a great day when activities such as Dodgeball, Frisbee and Unihoc to name but a few were enjoyed.
Our thanks go to all who volunteered on the day to help out as without them giving up their time free of charge we wouldn't have been able to run the Sportsarama.

Senior
Last Saturday saw the Seniors pick up their second brace of points in a few days when they defeated Dunshaughlin by 2-12 to 2-10.
