Seneschalstown 0-17 Trim 1-06

The Junior A footballers of Seneschalstown picked up their fifth victory from six games in the B League Division 2 on Tuesday evening to maintain their position at the head of the table following a comfortable victory over mid-table Trim. Having had a one point lead at the interval they pushed on during the second half as they played some excellent attacking football and held the visitors to a solitary point in the latter thirty minutes.

Half time lead washed away

Meath Reserve League Round 4

Seneschalstown 2-08 Skryne 1-12

Leading at half time they looked to be in a good position to kick on but it was the Skryne men who looked livelier in the closing thirty minutes with Seneschalstown having a tendency to over play the ball as they worked it into a scoring position.

Over the hour there can be little doubt that the side in black and amber were full value for their victory as they played some excellent football and indeed could have been out of sight by half time had they made better use of their chances.

Pitch Development
For many years now the club has been in need of a second playing pitch to cater for the large numbers of players we have lining out each year.
In total we have 24 sides between Men's, Ladies and Juvenile which puts huge pressure on our current facilities.
This year we have been lucky to procure land adjacent to our current premises on which we will be developing an all-weather sand based floodlit pitch along with using some of the land we already own.
