St Peter’s Dunboyne 4-13 Seneschalstown 5-12
After getting their season up and running a week earlier with their first victory of the season, Seneschalstown clung on in a frantic injury time on Saturday evening to account for Dunboyne and pick up their second League win of the year to date. In what was an enthralling encounter, full of incident and scores, the visiting side turned in an impressive second half showing to overcome a four point deficit at the interval to edge out Dunboyne.

Seneschalstown started this game having come off two disappoint defeats so were under some pressure to get maximum points and true to form started off with three quick points within 7 mins from James Meade, Brian Maguire and Shane Clarke but were then rocked when a mistake in the full back line allowed the Oldcastle full forward gain possession and he scored their goal, Oldcastle went on to record another 3 points without reply and

It was a wet and windy afternoon in Rathcairn when the Seneschalstown U-14 girls took to the field in their second game of the Division 1 Spring League against Clann na Gael.

Seneschalstown 0-6 Royal Girls 2-8
Seneschalstown lost out in the opening Div. 1 league encounter against Royal Gaels in the well-appointed Dunshaughlin venue. With Father Tully Park unavailable, Seneschalstown had to concede home advantage.
U-13 Division 2 Round 4
Walterstown 7-08 Seneschalstown 2-10
On what looked like a summers day in October the Seneschalstown team gave up home advantage and played in Walterstown due to ongoing drainage works which are being carried out in Fr. Tully Park.
The first half saw the side in blue hold their own, put some good passages of play together and take the game to Walterstown. By the break Seneschalstown had managed to open up the slenderest of advantages and led by a point 1-05 to 1-04.
Meath U-15 Division 2A League Round 2
Round Towers 4-12 Seneschalstown 5-13
Seneschalstown U-15 Boys travelled to Drumbaragh for the second round of the U-15 Division 2 League to play a very strong Round Towers team.
Meath U-17 Division 2 League Final
Seneschalstown 3-08 Navan O’Mahonys 0-10
The Meath Centre of Excellence in Dunganny bore witness on Wednesday evening to an U-17 Final which showcased plenty of cause for optimism that the future of Meath football is very bright. Neighbours and rivals through the decades, Navan O’Mahonys and Seneschalstown can look forward to two special groups of players making their way onto their respective Senior panels in the not too distant future if the fare both produced on a typically Autumnal evening is any barometer to go by.

Last Friday saw the Seniors get their Hoganstand.com Meath SFC campaign up and running with a narrow victory over Rathkenny in Skryne. Following a hard-fought encounter, they won out in the end by 2-09 to 0-12.

General Meeting
There will be a General Meeting in the clubhouse on Monday at 20:30.

This evening will see our Seniors get their Hoganstand.com Meath SFC campaign underway when they play Rathkenny in Skryne at 20:00. Note the change of venue. As usual we'll be live tweeting the scores from @SeneschalstownG.

Following the issuing of fixtures on Wednesday morning for the opening round of the Hoganstand.com Senior Football Championship our Seniors will face Rathkenny on Friday April 8th in Castletown who have recently installed floodlights.
Junior A
The Junior A team will play their second League game of the season when taking on Na Fianna in Round 3 of the B League Division 2 on Saturday April 2nd at 17:00 in Enfield.
Seneschalstown GFC is small rural club from the Beauparc/Kentstown parish situated about 6 miles east of Navan and 3 miles south of Slane.
The club has a proud history in all levels of GAA football over the years and more recently with our Ladies teams.
The club has enjoyed much success in all competitions and has been fortunate to have many players represent the county teams with distinction.
