Half time lead washed away

Meath Reserve League Round 4

Seneschalstown 2-08 Skryne 1-12

Seneschalstown fell to defeat on Sunday morning in the Reserve League following a disappointing second half performance in which they failed to get going. Leading at half time they looked to be in a good position to kick on but it was the Skryne men who looked livelier in the closing thirty minutes with Seneschalstown having a tendency to over play the ball as they worked it into a scoring position.

Hard work made of victory

A League Division 1 Round 9

Duleek/Bellewstown 2-13 Seneschalstown 1-18

Excitement scarce in dour victory

JMB Sportsfield Services Feis Cup Quarter Final

Rathkenny 1-06 Seneschalstown 3-09

It wasn’t a game which will live long in the memory but at the end of the hour it was Seneschalstown who progressed to the semi-final of the Feis Cup, a competition they last won in 2014. Although both teams were missing some key performers, neither will be satisfied with the level of performance they displayed, with a lot of play breaking down through sloppy passing while a plethora of good scoring opportunities were missed by the two teams.

Devastating fifteens cruise to victory

Meath Ladies U-15 Division 2 League Round 2

Seneschalstown 9-11 St. Michaels 0-06

With St. Michaels making the trip to Kentstown with depleted numbers on Thursday evening the Seneschalstown girls took to the field with 12 players a side and dominated the game from the start.

Resilient thirteens win again

Meath Ladies U-13 Division 1 Round 2

St. Colmcilles 3-08 Seneschalstown 3–10

Piltown was the venue on Saturday evening for the Seneschalstown U-13 girls Round 2, Division 1 match against a strong St. Colmcilles side. Conditions were wet underfoot after the rain that had fallen earlier that day.

Ice Cream all round for terrific thirteens

Meath Ladies U-13 Division 1 Round 1

Seneschalstown 3–06 Dunboyne 0-10
A beautiful, sunny morning in Fr Tully Park, provided the perfect setting for the U13 girls Division 1 opening game against a strong Dunboyne outfit on Sunday.

Goalden victory for 'Town

Meath U-17 Division 2 League Round 3

Seneschalstown 7-13 Wolfe Tones 1-09

It may have been Round 3 of the League but strangely this was Seneschalstown’s initial foray into the U-17 League for 2016 due to a combination of receiving a walkover from one game and the referee not showing up for another. With this in mind an element of rustiness may have been expected in their performance but this proved to not be the case as they turned in a very slick showing against what was admittedly an understrength Wolfe Tones side.

Brave Effort Runs Out of Gas

Under 16 Summer League Division 1 Round 3
St. Colmcilles 1-13 Seneschalstown 1-09
By Shane Mulvany

Minus a few regulars combined with only having 15 players available to them, Seneschalstown ultimately fell short in their bid to get their first win of the Summer League campaign. Having finished level with Na Fianna as well as leaving Paddy O’Brien Park pointless last Tuesday, victory was a must when they travelled to the excellently presented Páirc Uí Rís facilities in Piltown on Tuesday evening.

Two great wins for the 14's

Last week was a very busy one for the Seneschalstown U-14’s but also a very profitable one as they started the Summer League with two wins.

U-14 Summer League Roinn B Round 1

Seneschalstown 7-06 St. Peter’s/Paul’s 1-04

They started our summer league with a home again against a big strong Dunboyne side, for the first half both teams traded some really good scores and passages of play with good scores coming from Will Finegan, Liam Maguire, Kit Waddington and Donal Commons leaving the half time score at Seneschalstown 3 – 03 St. Peter’s/Paul’s 1 - 03
