Navan O’Mahonys 4-09 Seneschalstown 4-10
In years to come the date August 19th 2016 will be the answer to the inevitable quiz question as to when the first Friday night game on in the Premier League was shown on Sky Sports. However, it is highly unlikely that anybody who watched the millionaires strut their stuff in Old Trafford was entertained nearly as much as the hardy few who attended this cracker of an U-17 match in Paddy O’Brien Park.

Rathkenny 3-05 Seneschalstown 4-19
A place in the U-14 Roinn B Shield Final against Simonstown Gaels was secured for Seneschalstown on Thursday evening following an easier than expected victory away to Rathkenny. Due to a number of factors the hosts were forced to field a very much understrength side with plenty of U-12’s making the step up.

Seneschalstown 2-15 Round Towers 5-07
Confusion reigned in Fr. Tully Park last Thursday evening when nobody seemed quite sure what the score was for large parts of this absorbing U-14 Championship quarter final. Anybody who was asked what the score was seemed to have a different opinion to the person next to them but in the end whatever people thought there was only one person whose opinion mattered and that was that of the referee.
