Seneschalstown fail to conquer the 'hill

A League Division 1 Round 9

Summerhill 1-17 Seneschalstown 2-07

Summerhill is never an east place to go and get a positive result in and on Wednesday evening this proved especially true for Seneschalstown as they went down to a seven point defeat to the hosts on what was a glorious evening for football.

C's win high scoring encounter in Kilskyre

B League Division 4 Round 5

Ballinlough 3-11Seneschalstown 4-17

Seneschalstown 3rd team travelled to Kilskyre for the 5th round of the Div. 4 league with a tough assignment of taking on Ballinlough second team considering they were missing a number of regulars due to exam and work commitments and to be fair to both teams they served up a very entertaining and sporting game.

Conlon inspires victory

B League Division 2 Round 5

Blackhall Gaels 1-08 Seneschalstown 1-17

The Junior A’s of Seneschalstown picked up their third win of the season to date on Tuesday evening when they overcame a two point deficit at half time to eventually emerge as comfortable nine point winners over Blackhall Gaels.

Fielding a strong starting XV, the visiting side would have been relatively happy at half time, having played into a freshening breeze and had the luxury of having a strong substitutes bench to call on as the game progressed, something which proved to be crucial.

Young guns bag crucial goals

Seneschalstowns Junior C ladies made a big step towards qualification for the Championship semi-finals with this exciting and hard fough win over Rathkenny/Slane in Toddy Harding Park.

Masita Meath Ladies SFC Round 4

Royal Gaels 2-12 Seneschalstown 1-12

On an evening where some serious rain showers fell in Dunshaughlin Round 4 SFC the teams from Dunshaughlin and Yellow Furze served up a very entertaining game with little more than a kick of a ball separated the teams throughout with Royal Gaels taking the spoils.

Dee Rangers defeated as Ladies pick up first win

Masita Meath Ladies SFC Round 4

Seneschalstown 1-12 Dee Rangers 0-11

On a glorious evening for football our Senior ladies still looking for their first win in the Senior Championship overcame a strong Dee Rangers side on Tuesday night in what was a crunch tie.

Leading from the start our former outfield All Star Grainne Nulty who took up her position between the sticks was a driving force behind the team with fantastic distribution and a particular game saving save deep in the second half.

Six of the best for Keating's Troops

U-17 Division 1 League Round 1

St. Colmcilles 3-12 Seneschalstown 6-06

At the end of a pulsating and thrilling game of football which showcased much of what is brilliant in juvenile football Seneschalstown just about held on to claim victory against St. Colmcilles by three points under the floodlights in Piltown on Friday night last.

15's advance to final

Meath U-15 Division 2 League Semi-Final

Seneschalstown 4-15 Duleek/Bellewstown 2-12

Thursday evening in Donore saw Seneschalstown survive a few scary moments before finally pulling clear of Duleek/Bellewstown to book their place in the upcoming U-15 Division 2 Final against either Simonstown Gaels or Round Towers

Minor marvels bow out

LMFM Meath Minor Championship Division 3 Semi-Final

Ballivor/Boardsmill 6-12 Seneschalstown 2-10

The penultimate hurdle proved to be that little bit too high for a decimated Seneschalstown panel to jump on Friday evening as they fell to defeat against a physically stronger Ballivor/Boardsmill combination under lights in Skryne. Shorn of the services of eight players who were in action in the League Final back in May and with only two players in their last year of playing Minor available this was simply a step too far for a very youthful side.

Senior
Last Friday evening in a sparsely populated Páirc Tailteann our Senior side eventually saw off the challenge of Skryne to win out by 2-15 to 0-15. Struggling for scores early on it was the boot of Bryan Clarke that kept them in touch for much of the game before in the last quarter they opened their shoulders and pulled clear.
