'Town go goal crazy in Dunboyne

A League Division 1 Round 7

St Peter’s Dunboyne 4-13 Seneschalstown 5-12

After getting their season up and running a week earlier with their first victory of the season, Seneschalstown clung on in a frantic injury time on Saturday evening to account for Dunboyne and pick up their second League win of the year to date. In what was an enthralling encounter, full of incident and scores, the visiting side turned in an impressive second half showing to overcome a four point deficit at the interval to edge out Dunboyne.

Seneschalstown 1-12 Dee Rangers 0-11

On a glorious evening for football our Senior ladies still looking for their first win in the Senior Championship overcame a strong Dee Rangers side on Tuesday night in what was a crunch tie.

Leading from the start our former outfield All Star Grainne Nulty who took up her position between the sticks was a driving force behind the team with fantastic distribution and a particular game saving save deep in the second half.

C's cruise into League Final

Seneschalstown 6-15 St Colmcilles 1-4

Seneschalstown secured a ladies Div. 5 league final place after this good win over a gallant St Colmcilles outfit in Fr Tully Park.

With the sun peeking thru the clouds and gloomy drizzly evening leaving a team of youth and experience took to the pitch to do battle.

Late goals prove killer blows

Meath Ladies Adult League Division 1

Simonstown 3-09 Seneschalstown 0-14

Seneschalstown Senior ladies crossed the river Boyne to Simonstown on Wednesday night to try to pick up some badly needed points against the table toppers of Division 1 was always going to be a hard ask and they almost came away with a win on a memorable night after a hard-fought defeat which saw them concede 2 goals in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Minor marvels bow out

LMFM Meath Minor Championship Division 3 Semi-Final

Ballivor/Boardsmill 6-12 Seneschalstown 2-10

The penultimate hurdle proved to be that little bit too high for a decimated Seneschalstown panel to jump on Friday evening as they fell to defeat against a physically stronger Ballivor/Boardsmill combination under lights in Skryne. Shorn of the services of eight players who were in action in the League Final back in May and with only two players in their last year of playing Minor available this was simply a step too far for a very youthful side.

Walterstown come out on top

U-13 Division 2 Round 4

Walterstown 7-08 Seneschalstown 2-10

On what looked like a summers day in October the Seneschalstown team gave up home advantage and played in Walterstown due to ongoing drainage works which are being carried out in Fr. Tully Park.

The first half saw the side in blue hold their own, put some good passages of play together and take the game to Walterstown. By the break Seneschalstown had managed to open up the slenderest of advantages and led by a point 1-05 to 1-04.

Another comeback seals second brace of points

Meath U-15 Division 2A League Round 2

Round Towers 4-12 Seneschalstown 5-13

Seneschalstown U-15 Boys travelled to Drumbaragh for the second round of the U-15 Division 2 League to play a very strong Round Towers team.

Sportsarama
Tuesday saw almost 120 children enjoy our annual Sportsarama in Fr. Tully Park.
Each and every one of them had a great day when activities such as Dodgeball, Frisbee and Unihoc to name but a few were enjoyed.
Our thanks go to all who volunteered on the day to help out as without them giving up their time free of charge we wouldn't have been able to run the Sportsarama.

Senior
Last Saturday saw the Seniors pick up their second brace of points in a few days when they defeated Dunshaughlin by 2-12 to 2-10.
