AFL Division 1B Round 5
Seneschalstown 3-13 Rathkenny 0-10
Seneschalstown picked up back to back victories for the first time in this year’s Division 1B League campaign after beating Rathkenny by 12 points in Fr. Tully Park on what was a bright Tuesday evening for football.
In a game in which they lead from start to finish Seneschalstown put in the hard graft in the first half, before adding three second half goals which their overall performance richly deserved.
AFL Division 1B Round 4
Seneschalstown 3-09 Dunshaughlin 1-12
With 15 minutes left of this A League clash in Dunshaughlin on Tuesday evening, it looked certain that the hosts would walk away with the 2 valuable points on offer and a sufficient boost to their scoring difference column on the League table. Leading by 9 points after a strong start to the second half, Richie Kealy’s men were in a great position to make it four wins from four in Division 1B.
All was about to turn on its head……
AFL Division 4 Round 3
Seneschalstown 3-12 St. Mary’s 4-7
Seneschalstown picked up a second win from three outings in Division 4 of the AFL when beating near neighbours St. Mary’s in Fr. Tully Park on Saturday evening.
U15 Championship Division 1 Round 4
Seneschalstown 2-14 Rathkenny 2-03
They say that rivalries bring out the best in players. Well these teams have met over the last few years since U-10 in numerous clashes in Cup Finals and Shield Finals and only most recently in the U-16 Final were the Furze Girls clung on for a wonderful 1 point victory despite losing their most influential captain Sorcha Gough early in the game. They have provided as much entertainment for both sets of mentors and supporters that the great Dublin and Mayo rivalry has and Thursday night's game was no different.
Meath Ladies U-15 Division 1 Round 3
Clann Na Gael 0-06 Seneschalstown 8-07
Having to play the night before a Junior League final was never an ideal scenario with several of the u15 girls due to play tomorrow but that didn't deter the girls from taking the game from the start to the Gaeltacht team and dominating throughout.

With their aspirations of reaching the Championship semi-finals on the line, Seneschalstown’s Minors took the short journey to Duleek on Tuesday evening knowing that nothing less than a win would do and even at that they would need other results to go in their favour or they would be consigned to the Shield competition with two rounds left to be played.
