Fairyhouse Steel Meath SFC Group B Round 5
Seneschalstown 0-09 Navan O’Mahonys 3-14
With a place in the knockout stages of the Senior Championship at stake there was much riding on this encounter between old rivals Navan O’Mahonys and Seneschalstown but long before the end of the match it had turned into nothing more than a damp squib as the town side coasted to an easy victory, with which they booked a preliminary quarter final place against Na Fianna.
2017 A League Division 1 Round 13
Gaeil Colmcille 0-11 Seneschalstown 1-08
Seneschalstown’s latest spell in Division 1 of the League came to a conclusion on Monday evening when in Grangegodden they did just enough to reel Gaeil Colmcille in and force a draw courtesy of two points scored deep into injury time from Niall Groome and Robert Wogan.
Fairyhouse Steel Meath SFC Group B Round 2
Seneschalstown 3-16 Blackhall Gaels 2-12
With both sides tipped by the ‘experts’ to be among those in danger of relegation to the Intermediate ranks this was a game which if Sky had an interest in the club game would have been billed as a relegation six pointer. Typical though of what a win can do to change attitudes, the talk among Seneschalstown supporters after their win was now of a possible path to the quarter finals.

U15 Paddy O’Brien Cup Division 1 Semi-Final
Seneschalstown 1-10 Ratoath 1-3
By the time referee Derek Ryan had blown his full-time whistle in Tuesday evenings Paddy O’Brien Cup semi-final, many supporters in attendance could not have been anything but impressed with the display of Seneschalstown’s Under 15 side in seeing off Ratoath in the clash played in Fr. Tully Park. While the score at the end may look low on paper, the attitude of the players was top notch, and on another night the scoreboard would definitely have reflected their overall dominance on proceedings.
