It was close throughout, with the sides deadlocked at half-time, 0-3 each. After the resumption the teams traded scores, before Seneschalstown took a commanding lead with a goal from a penalty on 52 minutes.

However, Oldcastle replied with three points to level in injury-time, but that wasn’t the end of the drama. Seneschalstown added a point from a free to go ahead, before Ronan Farrelly secured a draw with a last ditch point from a free.
