A FL Div 2

Sun 19th Feb Seneschalstown 1-8 Syddan 1-7

SENESCHALSTOWN showed outstanding survival skills as they managed to pluck a narrow A FL Div. 2 victory from Syddan on Sunday.

Trailing by 0-4 to 1-5 at the break it looked bleak for the Yellow Furze side, but with former Armagh star Andrew McCann, Cormac Quinn and Brian Clarke in fine form they finally clawed their way back into contention.

Shane Clarke netted from a Graham Geraghty pass to restore parity with nine minutes remaining and Brian Clarke notched the winning point.
