Feis Cup

Skyrne 1-11 Seneschalstown 1-12

Ciaran Macken’s goal three minutes from full-time proved to be the winning score for Seneschalstown as they maintained their bid to retain the Feis Cup with a narrow victory over Skryne at Dunsany on Thursday.

Skryne defeated Seneschalstown in the A FL Div 1 final last year, so Thursday’s win was sweet revenge for Damien Sheridan’s charges. The contest was close throughout and the sides were tied 0-6 each before Kevin Mulvaney’s goal gave Skryne a 1-6 to 0-6 interval lead.
