Seneschalstown 1-12 Louth 3-11

In preparation for their up coming match in London Louth intermediate Ladies travelled to Seneschalstown for a challenge on bank holiday Monday the 4th of August.
After a brilliant performance in the Feis Cup earlier in the week Seneschalstown Ladies lined out with a panel of 26 players. Louth also brought referee Tony Clarke from Lucan who will be refereeing their match in London. Tony Clarke also gave advice to both teams from the latest ladies GAA refereeing seminar.

Louth started strongly with Seneschalstown getting to grips with the pace of the game after 15 minutes.
Seneschalsotwn took a 3 point lead into half time 0-7 to 0-4. The second half saw the introduction of Louise Byrne who has made a speedy recovery for a serious knee injury to take part in her first senior match of the year.
