Seneschalstown 5-18 Dee Rangers 1-3

Seneschalstown recorded their second successive win in the Feis Cup Competition with a comprehensive victory over Dee Rangers played in Syddan last Wednesday evening. Grainne McGowan opened the visitors account with a well taken goal while the half-forward line of Orla and Aoife Sheridan and substitute Sally-Ann Carolan worked hard to increase their sides lead in the opening half to leave Seneschalstown ahead by 1-8 to 0-3 at the interval.

Further goals from subsitute Niamh O’ Conner (2), Eimear O’ Carroll and Louise Byrne increased the deficit for the home side and substitute Amy Carolan added 3 points with an impressive second half display. The half back line of Adelle Carolan, Aurlita Everard and Roisin Nulty pressed forward and worked tirelessly to deny the home side a number of times with Seneschalstown emerging worthy winners. Best for Seneschalstown were Elaine Byrne, Adele Carolan, Aurlita Everard, Orla Sheridan, Grainne McGowan and substitute Amy Carolan.
