Grainne Nulty scored 3-5 to secure a comprehensive win for the Seneschalstown side in this 2nd round Div 1 league tie played at Seneschalstown on Saturday evening. The home side started brightly with Nulty (2) and Linda Quinn firing a hat-trick of goals in the opening half and with Siobhan and Mary Sheridan dominating the midfield exchanges the Yellow Furze side held a comfortable lead at half-time.

Grainne Nulty scored 3-5 to secure a comprehensive win for the Seneschalstown side in this 2nd round Div 1 league tie played at Seneschalstown on Saturday evening. The home side started brightly with Nulty (2) and Linda Quinn firing a hat-trick of goals in the opening half and with Siobhan and Mary Sheridan dominating the midfield exchanges the Yellow Furze side held a comfortable lead at half-time.

Further goals from Emma Harris and Nulty in the third quarter increased their lead while Orla Sheridan, Roisin Nulty, Eimear O’ Carroll and Harris added points causing further problems for the St. Micheals rearguard. St. Micheals rallied and increased their workrate however good defending from Louise McKeever, Deborah Dillon and Adele Carolan denied the visitors and ensured maxmium league points for the homeside with this comprehensive victory. Best for Seneschalstown were Siobhan Sheridan, Linda Quinn, Deborah Dillon, Adele Carolan, Emma Harris and sisters Grainne and Roisin Nulty.
