Defending champions Seneschalstown maintained their unbeaten run in the SFC with their third consecutive win at Martry last Wednesday. Seneschalstown went into a early lead with Ruth Lynch, Adele Carolan and Eimear O’Carroll hitting the target and two well-taken goals from Fiona Mahon and Sarah Wogan put the Yellow-Furze side into a 2-9 to 0-3 half-time lead.

With Mary Sheridan and Edel McGrane dominating midfield, Seneschalstown increased their lead in the second half as St. Ultans fought to cut the deficit. Louise McKeever, Sarah Heery, Annette O’ Connell and McGrane worked tirelessly to ensure there was no way back for the Bohermeen side and Seneschalstown ran out easy winners in the race for their fourth consecutive Senior championship title.
