Croagh Patrick Climb
Saturday September 10th will see an army of Seneschalstown players, members and supporters head west as they undertake a sponsored climb of the famous reek.
The climb is in aid of our pitch development fund and work is progressing each week on our new pitch. Inside the next fortnight the grass seed will be sown on it meaning by the end of September next year it will be ready for action.
We have twenty-six teams representing the club this year meaning this second playing pitch is badly needed. Each climber next Saturday is tasked with raising €500 so all support is greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all who supported our U-13’s Car Wash last Saturday in Fr. Tully Park. The support was phenomenal and over the course of the morning the boys raised over €600.
The Seniors will play Na Fianna in the final round of the Division 1 League on Sunday September 11th at 15:00 in Baconstown.

Wednesday evening saw the Minors record an impressive victory over Drumconrath/Meath Hill in their Round 2 match in the LMFM Minor Championship Division 3 Championship. Following a tight encounter, they finished with a flourish to win out by 2-16 to 1-13.

Player of the Week
When the Girls U-13 team needed leaders on Saturday away to St. Colmcilles many stood up but none more so than Anna who led the forward line with aplomb.
Anna ended the match with an incredible 1-09 as she showed radar like accuracy with her shooting.
Regarded by many as a brilliant talent, performances like this from Anna will only further enhance her burgeoning reputation.
The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 12,18, 20 and 23. There was no winner of the jackpot of €10,000 which means next week’s jackpot will once more be worth €10,000. The 5 by €25 winners were Mick Beggy, Anna & Leanne Clarke, Siobhan Donovan, Keith Delaney and Dominir Lara.
Tickets for the Lotto are €2 or 3 for €5. They can be purchased from committee members, Lotto sellers, local shops or you can also play online at http://www.helpourclub.ie/localhome.asp?
