In conjunction with our local St. Vincent de Paul the Club are going to run a Christmas Food Appeal on Sunday 16th December from 11.30am to 1pm in club hall.

We appeal to all members to spread the word across the local community to get them to bring any food items down to hall on Sunday.

Below are the guidelines set out by St. Vincent de Paul

Food Appeal Guideline
Reach Out & Give the Gift of a Brighter Christmas…
You can help people in need in your community this Christmas by supporting the SVP Christmas Food Appeal and providing festive foods for underprivileged children and adults.

By participating in the Christmas Food Appeal and donating nonperishable festive food items, you’ll be helping families and individuals enjoy a special Christmas meal. In addition, by providing food to eat over the Christmas and New Year period you’ll also be easing some of their financial burden. Food items will be distributed out to the many underprivileged children and families through our network of local conferences and volunteers.

How the SVP Christmas Food Appeal Works
