U-21
The fixture details for the Coolrite Refrigeration U-21 Championship quarter final against Skryne have been confirmed with the game taking place on November 1st at 14:30 in Páirc Tailteann.
Minor
Last Saturday saw the third Championship of the year to date return to Fr. Tully Park when the Minors recorded a 1-14 to 1-05 win over Duleek/Bellewstown in the Division 3 decider.
Having gotten off to the better start the boys in blue led from start to finish and at half time led by 0-10 to 0-02 with Cathal Finnegan hitting four points from play.
The second half was a scrappier affair but despite being down to fourteen players for much of it they had enough in the tank to win out by nine points.
U-15
On Sunday last the U-15’s turned in an impressive performance to overcome St. Colmcilles by 1-14 to 3-03 in the final round of the Division 2 League.
This result left them in second place on the table and with a home semi-final against Walterstown to look forward to. That semi-final will take place at 11:00 on Sunday November 1st in Fr. Tully Park.
U-13
The U-13’s will face Skryne in the Division 2 League on Sunday morning at 10:30. Boosted by a win over St. Peter’s/Paul’s in the previous round they will be looking for another positive result.
U-11
With a side made up solely of U-10 players the U-11’s took on Donaghmore/Ashbourne last Saturday in Ashbourne. The players put in a good performance but ultimately found an older home side to be a bit stronger.
They have a free weekend this weekend.
Girls U-18
The Minor Ladies mounted a most impressive comeback in the second half of last Sunday’s Division 1 Championship game against Boardsmill when coming back from nine points behind at the interval to eventually win out by one (2-16 to 6-03) thanks to a late, late point from Amy Gilsenan.
Girls U-13
The U-13’s slipped to their first defeat of the season last Sunday when an understrength side fell to a 4-07 to 4-05 loss away to St. Colmcilles.
These two sides were already qualified for the final which will be played on the weekend of November 7th.

Meath Ladies Minors
The Meath Ladies Minors had a very successful season this year with our very own Róisín Commons a key member of their Leinster Championship winning panel.
Preparations are already underway for next year’s Championship with trials scheduled for this Saturday, October 24th at 10:30 in Drumree.
The manager for next year is Boardsmill’s Eamon Murray who was also in charge this year.
Any of our very talented players who are eligible for the Minor grade next year are encouraged to attend.
Meath Ladies U-14’s
2015 was a very successful year for the Meath Ladies U-14 side as they won both the Leinster Championship and the All Ireland Blitz.
In the Leinster Final they defeated Dublin by 2-09 to 2-06 while in addition to that All Ireland Blitz success.
Two of our finest talents in the Ladies section of the club were part of that panel – Sorcha Gough and Aoife Lenehan and a crucial part of the panel they were.
These two girls are supreme talents who undoubtedly have what it takes to go on to be two of the best players in the county over the coming years.
Last Sunday along with their teammates they assembled in Walterstown for their end of year celebration and medal presentation.
Congrats to all the panel and in particular to our two superstars.

Congratulations to the boys from Kentstown NS who on Wednesday qualified for the Final when overcoming Kilbride NS in the semi-final.
Pitch Development
For many years now the club has been in need of a second playing pitch to cater for the large numbers of players we have lining out each year.
In total we have 24 sides between Men’s, Ladies and Juvenile which puts huge pressure on our current facilities.
This year we have been lucky to procure land adjacent to our current premises on which we will be developing an all-weather sand based floodlit pitch along with using some of the land we already own.
The total cost of this development will be €350,000 and to pay for this we are going to be embarking on a major fundraising drive.
Representatives from the club are currently calling to each house in the parish explaining why this pitch is needed and how people can help with our fundraising drive.
This new pitch will be a much needed addition to our facilities and will result in us having one of the finest playing pitches in the country.
Lotto
The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 4, 6, 13 and 22. There was no winner of the jackpot of €9,500 which means next week’s jackpot will be worth €9,600. The 5 by €25 winners were Joe Collins, Jimmy Carroll, Ann Flynn, Ann Carolan and C. Bond.
Tickets for the Lotto are €2 or 3 for €5. They can be purchased from committee members, Lotto sellers, local shops or you can also play online at http://www.helpourclub.ie/localhome.asp?
