Seneschalstown GFC Golf Classic: Our Annual Golf Classic will take place in Royal Tara on Friday July 4th. Entry for a team of 4 is €200. To book a team or for further information contact Alan Geraghty (086 8265528).

Club Competition: The Summer holidays have arrived and we are running a photo competition. The prize will be a year’s family membership for 2015 for one lucky family.

We are going to spread the Seneschalstown gospel across the world but need your help.

We are looking for photos of our juvenile members on their holidays wearing their Seneschalstown gear. The photo can be taken in Bundoran, Barcelona or Boston ……

Another option would be to take a photo at a famous landmark such as Buckingham Palace!

So get snapping and send the photo in via a Private Message to our Facebook Page. The draw to decide the lucky winner will take place on the first Saturday in September during the Seneschalstown Nursery.

Kellogg’s Cúl Camp: There will be a Kellogg’s Cúl Camp in Seneschalstown from July 14th – 18th. This was a major success last year and huge numbers are expected once more this year. Guess The Score: The Juvenile section of the club will be running a fundraiser over the next three weeks in the lead in to the Leinster Final against Dublin. A card will be distributed among the players in the club with each prediction costing €2. The prize for the winner who guesses the correct score or the nearest to it will be €100. This is a vital fundraiser for the Juvenile section and all support would be greatly appreciated.

Senior: The Senior team are fixed to play St. Patrick’s in Stamullen next Tuesday, July 8th, at 20:00 in Round 9 of the All County Football A League Division 1.

Junior D: The Junior D team will play their fifth and final match in Group C of the Junior D Football Championship on Thursday evening in Castletown at 20:00. This match will decide who tops the group and is sure to be a very tight game as evidenced by the recent league meeting between the two sides.

In that recent league match which was played last Tuesday Seneschalstown won by 1-14 to 0-13. Seneschalstown’s scorers were – Colin Lynch 0-06, David Hosie 1-01, Aled Ingman 0-03, Mark Gleeson 0-02, Mark Fox 0-01, Mark Gilsenan 0-01.

The team lined out as follows: Shane Corbally, Mark Keating, Conor Cowley, John Muldoon, Mark Fox, Steven Dillon, Shane Gargan, Aled Ingman, Darragh Keogh, Brendan Lynch, Mark Gilsenan, Ronan Conneely, Colin Lynch, David Hosie, Mark Gleeson.

Substitutions: Robbie Waters for R. Conneely, Tommy Duggan for M. Gleeson, Cormac Mullen for S. Gargan, Joey Macken for B. Lynch.

Under 17: The U-17 team started their league campaign last Friday evening in Drumconrath where they defeated North Meath Gaels by twelve points. The full time score was Seneschalstown 5-11 North Meath Gaels 2-08.

Their next match is fixed for Friday July 4th in Fr. Tully Park at 19:30 against St. Cuthbert‘s.

Under 16: The U-16 Summer League will commence this evening, Tuesday July 1st, against Balivor in Fr. Tully Park at 19:30.

Next week the team are fixed to play away to Ratoath on Tuesday July 8th at 19:30.

Under 14: The U-14 team are scheduled to start their Summer League with a home game against St. Colmcilles in Fr. Tully Park at 19:30 on Monday July 7th.

Under 12: The U-12 team continued their Summer League with a drawn match against St. Peter’s/St. Paul’s in Dunboyne last Wednesday evening.

Their next match will be away to Summerhill on Saturday morning at 10:00. Players are asked to be in Summerhill at 09:30.

Seneschalstown Nursery: Coaching will continue for the U-10, U-8 and U-6 children in Fr. Tully Park this Saturday at 11:00.

The U-6 team had a match on Saturday morning in Fr. Tully Park against Skryne. There were two matches play simultaneously with all children having great fun.

Girls U-14: Girls U-14 training continues on Wednesdays from 18.30 to 19.30.

Girls U-10: Girls U-10 coaching continues on Mondays from 18.30 to 19.30.

Meath: Congratulations to the Meath team on their Leinster Championship semi-final victory over Kildare on Sunday.

Meath U-16: Eoin Finnegan represented the club at the weekend in the Gerry Reilly tournament playing for his county against Wicklow. Meath were beaten in this Round 1 encounter by 3-09 to 3-08 with Eoin chipping in with a point from right half forward.

Lotto: The numbers drawn in this weeks Lotto were 3, 6, 15 and 22. There was no winner of the jackpot of €2,900. Next weeks jackpot will be worth €3,000. The 5 x €25 winners are Frank Quinn, Cathlin & Senan Scanlan, Kieran Mulvany, Sean Carolan and Martin Foy.
